Another Crappy Site!

Here's a site called WeirdCrap.com with a bunch of strange stuff. It hasn't been updated in a long time, but it does have a very cool parody of Jack Chick. In case you don't know who Chick is, he's a pychopathic asshole who is viciously anti-Catholic, to the point that he promotes the ideas that the Catholic church assassinated Lincoln, Kennedy, and was responsible for WW1, WW2, and Viet Nam. He's responsible for a bunch of anti-Catholic comics that are distributed across the states.

Leaving the left

Here's an editorial by Keith Thompson at the San Francisco Chronicle, most likely his last :) where he talks about how the radical left has lost all common sense and send him away.

"Leading voices in America's "peace" movement are actually cheering against self-determination for a long-suffering Third World country because they hate George W. Bush more than they love freedom. "

"A turning point came at a dinner party on the day Ronald Reagan famously described the Soviet Union as the pre-eminent source of evil in the modern world. The general tenor of the evening was that Reagan's use of the word "evil" had moved the world closer to annihilation. There was a palpable sense that we might not make it to dessert. When I casually offered that the surviving relatives of the more than 20 million people murdered on orders of Joseph Stalin might not find "evil'" too strong a word, the room took on a collective bemused smile of the sort you might expect if someone had casually mentioned taking up child molestation for sport. My progressive companions had a point. It was rude to bring a word like "gulag" to the dinner table. "

"In the name of "diversity," the University of Arizona has forbidden discrimination based on "individual style." The University of Connecticut has banned "inappropriately directed laughter." Brown University, sensing unacceptable gray areas, warns that harassment "may be intentional or unintentional and still constitute harassment." (Yes, we're talking "subconscious harassment" here. We're watching your thoughts ...). "

The ultimate time-waster

You've got to try this site. It's got a bunch of real Vegas slots to play online for free. If you choose to, you can also use your earnings to enter into cash drawings. (Don't email me telling me that these sites fill up your email with spam or infect you with spyware. I think it's safe to assume that they do. Just make sure your computer is protected, whether you go to sites like this or not.)

Today in wrestling history...

Today marks the six-year anniversary of Owen Hart's death. I can't believe that it's already been six years. It's also probably the only time WWF/E showed some class and didn't make a storyline out of a tragedy. (Note: TNA did however a few years ago.)

CNN Money takes a positive look at WWE stock

This is definitely worth reading. (It will make people stop making fun of me for owning WWE shares.)

ECW

Here's WWE's official ECW site. That sounds weird. There's an ECW trivia you can take. I got 70%. Not bad, for hardly ever watching.

Google Map UFO

Here's a nice shot from Google's new satellite service. It shows a great big orb floating over Florida. I can't tell if the object has a shadow, though.

Monday Night Raw

Raw was live in Omaha last night and I didn't go see it. Normally that would be a good choice since Raw usually sucks, but by skipping out here's what I missed:

1. My favorite wrestler today, Christian vs. My favorite wrestler of all time, Ric Flair.
2. Chris Benoit vs. Tajiri in an "ECW match."
3. An appearance by Vince McMahon.
4. Edge vs. Lita with a good (though predictable) heel turn for Lita.

And most importantly....

5. A full episode of Raw with Triple H stinking the place up.

JEDI-SIZE ME!!!

I never thought it was possible, especially after those first two crap-filled movies, but I'll be damned if I don't have Star Wars fever all over the place. I just went to Burger King and paid six bucks for a burger and fries just to get a couple of toys. And the best news ever is that next week my favorite website (WrestleCrap.com) will even post a review of Revenge of the Sith.

I can't wait to break the news to my girlfriend that we'll be watching the first five Star Wars movies back-to-back this weekend!

Ahhhhhhhh! Too excited...head exploding....

Border Patrol told to stand down in Arizona

When is America going to wake up and demand something be done about the border? Instead we have a Border Patrol is intentionally refusing to do it's job in order to undermine the volunteer patrol. It's flat out disgusting. We vote for Republicans in hopes that they will obey our laws and protect our border and they turn out to be just as spineless as the Democrats.

U.S. Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers.

Back from Vegas

I'm back from Vegas with 1) No dart trophy and 2) No money.

I guess that's what happens when you get too greedy playing the Star Wars Penny Slots all week.

And just so I don't forget to mention it later, I really really hate Billy Kidman.
