Roger Waters: Radio KAOS

This is the awesomest thing ever. I've wanted to see this since I was 15, but couldn't find it in the states.

It's the Radio KAOS movie!!!!!!!!

Roger Waters: Radio KAOS, Part 1
Roger Waters: Radio KAOS, Part 2
Roger Waters: Radio KAOS, Part 3

Oh, and just for the record. It's terrible! But in a good way!

Ron Paul on G4 TV

It's time to go back some good old fashion Ron Paul promoting. They actually ask him a couple of tough questions on this G4 interview.

The first half is an interview and the second half is view calls.

McMahon on The Today Show

Here's an interview with Vince. He has to go on the defensive a couple of times, but otherwise it's a pretty fair interview. This is probably the last Benoit post I'll make, unless something major happens.

Bret Hart Interview

Here's a pretty good interview with Bret Hart about Benoit. He answers some pretty tough questions and actually defends WWE's steriod policy.

For the record, I highly doubt that this was "roid rage". This was way too planned out.

This is horrible on so many levels.

Benoit Murder Details from TMZ.com

It doesn't get much worse than this.

"Several Atlanta-based law enforcement sources have told TMZ Benoit may have strangled his wife on Saturday, then smothered his son in his bed a day later. Investigators refuse to officially comment, pending final confirmation by the coroner on the cause and time of the deaths."

More Benoit info

From WWE.com:

According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.

Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.

The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks.

WWE.com has further information relating to both the investigation and the cause of death, but the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has requested that WWE.com not release any additional details at this time.

I should go to bed, but this is WAY too interesting...

I don't know what to say. Read that headline again. Chris Benoit and family found dead.

That includes his wife, Nancy "Woman" (Sullivan) Benoit.

This is absolutely horrible. Please pray.

"World Wrestling Entertainment is deeply saddened to report that today Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their home. There are no further details at this time, other than the Benoit family residence is currently being investigated by local authorities.

Tonight’s Raw on USA Network will serve as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family. WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family’s relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy."

'Mile-wide UFO' spotted by British airline pilot

As the plane got closer the captain viewed it through binoculars and said: "It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area.

"It was 2,000ft up and stationary. I thought it was about 10 miles away, although I later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us. At first, I thought it was the size of a [Boeing] 737.

"But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide."

CNBC: Is Faking Vince McMahon's "Death" Working?

Here's a CNBC article looking at Vince McMahon's "death."

"Now, let's go a little deeper. Is it a crime for the WWE to fake McMahon's death? I don't believe so. Because a police report wasn't filed and McMahon isn't creating any sort of phony documentation or cashing in on a life insurance policy, it doesn't seem like there's any exposure here.

But I still think there's a possibility the organization could be sued by a shareholder. By announcing that he is "presumed dead" on their official Web site, they could be charged with misleading stockholders. There's no evidence that a slew of people bought the McMahon news on Wall Street. As of Monday's close, WWE stock is down only 1.8 percent since the "accident." You'd think if McMahon really died, the thing would plummet. That being said, I think there could still be a claim."

Become A Delegate Or Paul Won't Win

From Rense.com...

"A word to the wise: if you present yourself as a supporter of Ron Paul, you will never get elected as a delegate. Wave the flag, shout power to the GOP, rah, rah, rah, get elected and then begin your campaign to get Ron Paul nominated. Now, some might say this type of stealth isn't right. Here's what's not right: back room deals and big money giving the American people no choice in these elections and anyone who thinks this isn't how the process has been working for the past century is in a state of denial."

Surprise vigil and memorial for the Chairman

That's right. PWInsider.com is reporting that these are real people, not plants, who actually believe that Vince McMahon is dead. Of course WWE will exploit that. What's going to happen when he returns to WWE television?

Hundreds of baskets of carnations, sympathy cards, teddy bears, daisies and orchids lined the entrance to the Titan Tower as countless fans made a makeshift memorial to Mr. McMahon, who is presumed dead after the limousine he entered exploded at the end of Raw. Some preferred to leave pictures of the Chairman, while others placed toy replica belts of the ECW World Title he held briefly. But everyone WWE.com interviewed said that while they didn’t love Mr. McMahon, they respected him as a pioneer in the world of sports-entertainment and wanted to thank him for entertaining them all these years.

“I hated the arrogant b******, but I had to come,” said a tearful Peter Frager, who said he drove all the way from Borger, Texas. “I’ve watched wrestling for so many years – I grew up watching him, even during the days when he was just an announcer. It’s going to be weird watching WWE without him.”

Yet another remake.

The original is only twenty years old too. What ever happened to the endless line of sequels? Why so many remakes?

That reminds me, today we watched Hellraiser and Hellraiser: Inferno (part 5). I think there are eight in the series.

Corporate Media Sidelines Ron Paul Again

Well, duh. Last month FoxNews showed it. Last night CNN showed it. The mainstream media is no better than NPR/PBS when it comes to censoring the free exchange of ideas.

One the bright side, at least MSNBC/FoxNews/CNN allowed Paul in the debates. That's more than you can expect from the public media.

About the CNN debate, however, Paul kind of shot himself in the foot by deciding to make Iraq his only issue last night. He had one or two chances last night to talk about limiting government, but chose to talk about Iraq instead.

Republican debate tonight...

I watched the Democratic primary debate Sunday night. Nothing really interesting happened. I was really disappointed to see everyone fight over who can socialize health care the most. If I had to pick one at gunpoint, I'd probably have to go with either Biden, Dodd, or Richardson. (God help us, either way.)

Not that the other side is much better. Watch the debate tonight on CNN. I admit I'm going in with a pro-Ron-Paul bias, but after that, I'll try to keep an open mind.
