Green aliens and UFOs said to visit UK: secret files

We're one step closer to disclosure. My biggest concern is how the US government is going to react when the rest of the world finally tells everything.

Pastor Hagee apologizes for anti-Catholic remarks

Wow.

In a statement posted in the Catholic League's Web site, (William) Donohue added: "What Hagee has done takes courage and quite frankly I never expected him to demonstrate such sensitivity to our concerns."

I'm with you, Bill.

It's cool to be a Republican.

Since I'm still registered with one of the big two parties, I got to vote for Ron Paul and AGAINST Lee Terry today. And FOR "Amendment 1", which I hope everyone did as well.

Supporters of the amendment said it changes an 1875 portion of the Nebraska constitution to diversify investments and limit those investments so the funds are protected.

Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens

Yet another reason why I'm Catholic...

VATICAN CITY (AP) - The Vatican's chief astronomer says that believing in aliens does not contradict faith in God.
The Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, says that the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones.

In an interview published Tuesday by Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Funes says that such a notion "doesn't contradict our faith" because aliens would still be God's creatures.

The interview was headlined "The extraterrestrial is my brother." Funes said that ruling out the existence of aliens would be like "putting limits" on God's creative freedom.

Bob Barr

I don't know a whole lot about him, but it appears he's the LP guy in 2008.

Looking at his web page... (momentary pause) ...

Yes, readers. It appears we have an honest-to-goodness capitalist running for the White House.

He really needs to lose the mustache though.

Teen With Blood-Alcohol Content of 0.578 Survives After Weekend Party

Coulter: 1 down, 2 to go

I don't like Ann Coulter but here's a good column from her on WND.

...And now Bill Clinton has wrecked Hillary's campaign, too. He's like the creepy guy who graduated last year but still hangs around the high school cafeteria chatting up sophomores.
...
So before remembering that we are now left with two dangerous choices for president – a young liberal who is friendly with terrorists or an old liberal who is friendly with Teddy Kennedy – take a moment to revel in the fact that our long national nightmare is over. It turns out getting rid of the Clintons was the change we've been waiting for.

Florida Substitute Teacher Fired, Accused of Wizardry

You know that cool card trick I know? (Readers: "no") It's because I know "wizardry."

How silly/stupid.

A Florida teacher may have to pull an unemployment check out of his hat after performing magic in front of students, according to reports.

Jim Piculas said he made a toothpick disappear and reappear in front of students at the Rushe Middle School in Land 'O Lakes, Fla., Local6.com reported. He said he later got a call from the supervisor of teachers, saying he had been accused of wizardry.

"I get a call the middle of the day from head of supervisor of substitute teachers. He says, 'Jim, we have a huge issue. You can't take any more assignments. You need to come in right away,'" he told Local6.com.

Piculas said he’s concerned the incident may prevent him from being considered for future jobs.

The 50 most influential US political pundits

Here's a cool list.

Edit: I posted before actually looking at the top 10. This list sucks. Karl Rove, Chris Matthews, and Sean Hannity are the top three with Rush at number 4. WTF?????
